Select the type of document you wish to request, and complete the information on the form. Remember that these are only parish documents in Cuba.

If you provide accurate data, this will ensure the success of the search, and shorten the delivery time. We recommend to consult our list of burial records in our Patreon. Also, consult our suggestions of documentary sources in Cuba.

Terms and conditions of the service

In order to obtain funds to carry out our investigations, and to buy DNA kits, MAGENHA offers a genealogical search service for documents in Cuba.

The interested person must provide data in the forms at the end.

Below are the terms and conditions of use of the service.

PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

  1. Once we have results on the research, we will reach you and schedule the payment.
  2. We will not provide research results until payment is made in full.
  3. It will only be charged if the investigation has results and not otherwise.
  4. The amount will be told in advance in the contact email, but it will be between 37-50% of the cost with genealogist services in Cuba.
  5. Payments will be received using our donation button via PayPal.

Research and completion time

Given that these investigations will be included in our investigations as a project, it is not possible to specify a time for the completion of each order. It depends on the place where the document should be consulted and the volume of searches of our fundamental lines of investigation.

Sharing information

The person receives a transcript of the document, or a parish certificate

Each document delivered by MAGENHA will contain a watermark, since when they are searched by the project, they become part of our documentary collection.

We allow others (e.g., family history societies, journalists) to reproduce content published in our blog posts as long as they comply with the following policies:

  1. Printed materials and presentations: Others may reproduce content from our blog posts in printed materials and presentations as long as they provide credit to Mapa Genealogico de Haplogrupos by including a link to https://www.magenha.org (or a direct link to the original blog post) in their publication or presentation.
  2. Internet and electronic communications: Others may reproduce content from our blog posts on the Internet or in electronic communications as long as they include a link to our original blog post. Reproductions should constitute (1) select quotations and/or readers’ original summaries with (2) a link to the post rather than extensive reproductions of the post’s contents (i.e., more than two paragraphs).

Modifications of the terms and conditions of use

We reserve the right at any time and at our sole discretion to modify these Terms and Conditions of Use. Modifications will be posted online or communicated to you via email or regular mail. We likewise reserve the right to refuse service to any potential client at our sole discretion
